Cookie policy

Cookies we set

None for readers. The site has one technical cookie, set only when an editor signs in to the administration pages. It keeps that session open for up to 24 hours and is never set for ordinary visitors.

Cookies set by others

If you click an affiliate link to Amazon or to a shop in the CJ Affiliate network, those companies may set cookies on their own sites to record that you arrived from Polling Interval. A labelled sponsored banner, where one is shown, is loaded from the CJ network's servers, which may set or read their own cookies when the image loads. These cookies belong to those companies and follow their policies; we cannot read them.

Controlling cookies

Every modern browser lets you block third-party cookies, delete cookies when you close it, or clear them for a single site. Blocking them does not stop any part of this site from working, including the Netcalc tools.
